D.D. Williamson and colorMaker have worked together and entered petitions to put the following non-synthetic colors on an organic-compliant national list that the National Organic Program of the U.S. Department of Agriculture should release this year:

- black currant fruit juice
- red cabbage extract
- purple/ black carrot extract
- elderberry juice
- grape juice
- grape skin extract
- red radish extract
- annatto seed extract
- beta-carotene
- lycopene
- paprika
- saffron
- beet juice
- turmeric
