Oh-So-Good Oven Fried Potatoes

Ingredients (Kitchen-friendly)   Ingredients (metric)
6-12 potatoes, peeled and cubed 6-12 potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/4 c Parmesan Cheese 30 g Parmesan cheese
2 tsp salt 12.5 g salt
1 tsp garlic powder 2.2 g garlic powder
1 tsp paprika 2.2 g paprika
3/4 tsp D.D. Williamson
Caramel Color Powder
1 g D.D. Williamson
Caramel Color Powder
1/2 tsp pepper 0.7 g pepper
vegetable oil vegetable oil

Directions:

  1. Place potatoes in two resealable plastic bags.
  2. Combine the cheese and seasonings in a small dish.
  3. Add to the potatoes and shake.
  4. Pour some oil (about 1/4 c) onto a baking pan.
  5. Pour potatoes onto pan.
  6. Bake at 375?F for40-50 minutes until the potatoes are tender.

Tips:

  • This recipes works fine if you choose to keep the skins on your potatoes, particularly with the smaller red or white potatoes.
  • The D.D. Williamson Caramel Color Powder gives the potatoes a nice fried appearance despite the fact the potatoes are actually baked.
