Powdered Caramel Colour 624
D.D. Williamson’s POWDERED CARAMEL COLOR NO. 624 is a free-flowing product that will not lump or cake under normal storage conditions. No. 624 is a yellow-brown type of particular value for spice blends, yellow-tint sauces or other products where a lighter color intensity is desired.

- For color determination dissolve 0.5 gms of powder in 100 ml of boiling water and then dilute to 500 ml in a volumetric flask. The color intensity is the absorbance of this solution at 610 millimicrons through a 1 cm square cell on Beckman DBG Spectrophoto-Meter x 1000.
- Shelflife is based on storing the product sealed, in ambient storage conditions. Ambient conditions are 75 degress F (24 Degrees C) with a relative humidity of 60%.
Packed in 50 lb. and 25 kg net polyethylene-lined cardboard cartons.
