Caramel Color 060
Double Strength - Acid Proof - Class IV
Williamson’s DOUBLE STRENGTH ACID PROOF CARAMEL NO. 060 is Kosher for Passover as it is made from pure cane or beet sugar. A typical analysis of No. 060 yields the same specifications as our Double Strength Acid Proof No. 050. Designated as “ACID PROOF” because of its prolonged stability and brilliance when used in acidulated carbonated beverages, this caramel color is also extensively used in non-acidulated drinks and a wide range of processed foods.
